Challenge
An Indonesian electronics factory faced increasing order volumes, but low manual handling efficiency led to tight delivery schedules, causing the factory owner significant concern. To maintain customer satisfaction and company reputation, the factory decided to introduce Reeman Spaceship AMR handling robots to resolve their logistics issues.
Solution
To address the company’s low manual handling efficiency and dynamic production environment, we designed an AMR handling robot solution. Considering the complexity of the internal environment, the factory opted for an under-ride handling robot, supporting various personalized customizations. We installed a liftable rack on the under-ride Spaceship handling robot to adapt to the factory environment. Additionally, we equipped the robot with an elevator control module, enabling it to autonomously open warehouse doors. Employees can easily control the robot remotely, saving time and increasing work efficiency.
Implementation Process
Before the project started, we conducted a detailed needs analysis with the company. Our technical staff guided the company online to complete the robot deployment, which took one week. Throughout the process, we maintained close communication with the customer to ensure each step was understood and approved.
Results and Benefits
By implementing our solution, the customer successfully resolved their logistics transport issues. The robots automatically transported raw materials and finished electronic products from the warehouse to the production line and then to the shipping area, greatly enhancing production efficiency and inventory management. The automated internal transport system significantly reduced manual handling costs, increased production efficiency, and streamlined order delivery operations.
